Figuring out a side page flip using items from A Tattered Dream on Etsy for my Artymaze autumn journal (A Touch of Autumn). Excuse the bumbling as I figure out how to make this work the way I'd like! Thanks for crafting with me today!

I'm so glad that you kept the parts where you were processing your dream into reality. We should never be ashamed to create new ways of doing our craft. As for too much embellishment, remember that we are part of the "More is More Movement".

I LOVE THIS!!! And "bumbling" as you say, actually helps reinforce what I am to do. Its fun seeing you working out something new. So thank you Gayle for showing you, and not doing a new video showing you doing it perfectly first time through as others would do. It shows that we can figure stuff out too.

I actually appreciate seeing your thought process and brainstorming! We seldom get to see the evolution of a complex completed project. Your videos are the start of nearly everyday for me. I enjoy “visiting” with you as much as I do the tutorial and learning! I think all of us can relate to the bumbling moments. You take it in stride with humor and show us that it doesn’t have to be frustrating. A very valuable lesson!❤️

Gayle, I give you a lot of credit for trying a new and obviously difficult project, and on camera too!! You came across a few problems, but you fixed them, and you didn't lose your patience. Be proud of yourself. I think if it was me, a few choice words would have come flying out of my mouth. :) I watch you everyday, and I love your "bumbling", it makes me accept my own bumbles without getting frustrated, I just think of you and smile. Love ya and God Bless. XO

Ohhh Gayle - This is sooo fabulous!!! I really love that you shared your thought process!!! I tend to bumble through my crafting whether it’s my idea or someone else’s lol. I know when I first started making journals, it felt like that all the time so it’s nice few newbies to realise that it doesn’t always make sense straight away, but if you keep at it, you almost always end up with something functional and beautiful at the end!!! I’ve also learnt that it may not necessarily end up the way you initially envisaged but... sometimes it can turn out way better lol!!! I just love what you’ve created!!! No thought process is ever bumbling... just like no question is ever silly!!! That’s how great things happen!!! Big ‘crafty’ hugs, Sharon 🌷💜

I love your bumbling and laughing❤️ Please never stop. My cat seems to love you too. I usually watch you just before bed on my iPad but yesterday I was cleaning up in the living room so I thought I would watch your video. I saw my cat, Sammy Jo, by the tv and stopped to watch her. She was mesmerized, or so I thought, by you. She was intently watching your every move although I figured out a bit later that she was probably focused on the lace that you were moving around. I found this out when she looked like she was going to jump up to the tv screen. 😂 Blessings, Winona

I’m with the others - showing the REAL process, not editing out the complications (not bumbling) isn’t reality! We love you just as you are! Never apologize dear Gayle. I am interested in hearing your solutions for time management. I’m having the same issues with my time...hubby wants to retire, we are hoping to travel a bit more (dogs have health issues so it’s a bit more complicated), and my journal adventure is just taking off! Why couldn’t I have found this amazing wonderful craft sooner??? Anyway, my hubs would like to spend more time with me too I have him trained to do my tea dyeing now though....so there is that! LOL. 😁😉. Hugs always, Martha. 💕🤗
