Wahoo my favorite little series returns! I always felt kinda bad for squid, especially when Morrowseer tried to kill him. I mean he’s just.. really pathetic. It’s hard not to. Also, to make up a reason why the fake dragonets were so bland, maybe Morrowseer WANTED them that way- if they were lazy and unmotivated and selfish then maybe they’d be less likely to band together and do what they wanted with the prophecy, like the original dragonets. He possibly handpicked the most pathetic dragonets he could find so they’d be easier to control.. or at least somewhat keep from ruining the plan. Anyways, my little vote is for Typhoon as always, my beloved insignificant little side character. I’ve gotten to a point where I’m considering making an oc to pair up with him just so I can love him a little more.

To be honest, the prophecy is kind of like how in the SpongeBob movie they believed the "mermaid magic" made them men and made them strong. It didn't--nothing happened. They just believed in it and that gave them bravery. For WoF, it took 5 good dragons and Sunny sticking to it that chose to make it a reality. Kind of like a placebo effect. Fate is what you make of it.
