He’d be 30 today. It still feels weird. I’m so thankful for macs team and family. They did and are doing exactly what everybody wants. I can’t imagine the emotions they feel going through his archives, but with every dig comes more reasons as to why he lifted up and saved so many people. Music is the strongest language. Macs music is almost cryptic. Nobody hates it, but some people don’t understand it. The ones who do really grasp it. Faces is still the best collection of songs in this modern era. Nothing makes me more emotional than thinking about Mac Miller... I never understood people having such a hard time until the deaths of Mac Miller, Chester Bennington & Chris Cornell. Just absolutely crushing to me and it immediately made me understand everyone else's pain even though I didn't feel it for the same person they did.

"For better or for worse, I always try and keep it... always as open and as honest as possible because I want people to kind of feel like they can be right there with me and that goes for the ups and the downs" When Faces dropped was one of my lowest points in life. Thank you so much for your music during those times it felt like I had a friend.

My soul longs for more Mac Miller... As if he didn't already leave us with so many levels of amazing masterpieces throughout the years. I simply will never be able to get enough of his artistry and energy and will always crave more. He was a once in a lifetime talent. We even share the same birthday. I'm grateful that him and his music means so much to so many people. I wish he were here to absorb all of the love. In some way, shape, or form he still is. I want to stop by that house where he produced and filmed soon. It's only a couple exits away. It meant so much to him - Maybe there's a bit of his energy left in that canyon.

The smile at the end…. I felt that.. sometimes very hard for a person to accept the darkness within.. not only accept it but thrive and work your ass of through it… Mac… I feel that pain and darkness inside every single day and you are the reason I CANT accept the darkness. As much as I want to accept me for me I can’t let it control me and take my life. Thank you.. I miss you

Words can’t explain the love I have for his music. Sure it got people through bad times, but overall Mac had a different sound and tone during Faces. He bared himself and exposed his mind and feelings to us. Before this and before wmwtso it felt as if he was trying to impress the fam based whereas on faces and forward he found himself. Many people may think he should’ve been helped and this and that, but i truly believe that if you asked Mac how he’s want to die, he’d describe his actual fate. He foretold his fate many times during his music but I believe that he didn’t do anything about it because he was content with it. At least that’s how I feel. Rest Easy my boy. I’ve been rocking with you since I was 12. I’m 22 these days and have never been more appreciative of an artist like yourself. Thank you for it all.

From what he said publicly and his music, I do think he wanted to grow old, settle down and musically develop past rapping, it's just... difficult to get past addiction.

I’ve listened to this album tripping sack as a kid. I was in my room in pitch black darkness laying in bed listening to this with an uncontrollable smile on my face the entire time. At the end of the album I cried, I never felt so alone. For the rest of my life this album has changed my life and will always make me think of a happier time, a simpler time. The beats he used in that album were made for trippers

I love the community that Mac built with his own fan base and extended that love to other artists fan bases. You can tell he LOVED music and did it for the art and inspiration. I’ll always feel bitter sweet when thinking about Mac and I’m okay with that. He’ll always live in my head from time to time and that’s beautiful.

The pain I feel remembering a man I NEVER knew outside of the words he gifted us in his music is what reminds me not to leave this world. It sounds very "High school drama" to say it like that but it's the way I feel. It's not just Mac, it's all the artists and people I look up to. I remember and I think "If it hurts this bad while never having known the man, how must it feel to those who did know him." And so, I cannot leave this world because there are people who know me.
