Thanks for this clear explanation of how to make durable floorcloths. I loved that she gives each direction and demonstrated exactly how she did each step. .the troubleshooting tips and care directions at the end will be very useful. The only thing missing was a gallery of cloths to enjoy. I am inspired and plan to try this.

Thank you for this well done tutorial. All instruction and no extraneous small talk. I have learned so much from you. I have only done a few small rugs and one runner all following your techniques. They all turned out great.

My first reaction was, "It's you!!" You responded to an email I sent you years ago, right away, and I was so gratified to receive it!! I'm getting back into floorcloths again, and are taking your excellent video as a good omen. I appreciate you so much! Stay healthy, and stay safe!!

Thanks Elaine! It was so long ago and far away!! I was very young and trying to follow a script to stay within the time limit for editing. I am happy to finally send it to the public domain on You Tube and let everyone have it.

Thank you for taking the time to make this very informative video. I have both of your books that are wonderful guides. I have made about 6 of these and plan on repainting two ( I made 10 years ago) for using outdoors on concrete this year . It's so much fun as well as a challenge to paint on such large surfaces.

TOTALLY inspiring! I am going to try to make one for the v-berth in our boat. I will probably have to completely varnish it front and back to seal it. Thanks for all the great information.

I loved your book and have made quite a few canvas floorcloths. Do you have a video on the vinyl floorcloths?

Hi Kathy. Thank you for sharing all your years of knowledge. I have a friend who has a several canvas rugs in your book. After 30 years of teaching art, I'm ready for a new art career. So, my friend suggested canvas rugs and mentioned your name. In looking through your tutorials, I was wondering if you are still using double sided tape to finish bind the edges of your rugs? I've seen other people sew theirs or glue theirs, but your taping method seems much quicker and easier. How is the durability of the taping. Thank you so much for your help.

@@elaineholthaus2298 that was CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. it could help to get more views if you or her were open to it! Instead of oblivion w/ all of the rest poorly made videos!

Her delivery beats all the stupid videos where the narrator is more interested in inane talk and little instruction. This lady gave is all the good information in a succinct manner. I learned a great deal from her presentation. Maybe it would behoove you to listen. You know God gave us one mouth and two ears for a reason.

@@DNLDVID unlike you I did not feel this woman needed to have any criticism of her delivery, constructive or otherwise. It is you, my friend who was rude in suggesting she was robotic. A case of the pot calling the kettle black
