Get you a nice, heavy duty rectangular magnet. Hook your grounding clamp to that and stick it to your piece. Boom! Extra hand.

I can do both, but I was wondering if this could be solder...I have solder gun, but I would have to borrow my son in laws portable welder. I learned welding at work, welding is easy as long long as you have the settings right

What blade are you using on your chop saw?

It’s a blade for metal. You can buy them for your chop saw. That’s actually a miter saw.
