I always love it when Ash wins. 🥳👍👍🎇🎆 I feel like he never really wins as much as the others do. Every game Stumpt plays, Ash winning always seems so rare.
@Kewryn3 жыл бұрын
That's actually true; in most competitive games he usually ends up in last place. But we like him anyway ;)

Luck based games keep the same person from winning every time. You guys are SUCH good sports about it, but most people honestly aren't. I think those are the instances that make luck based games enjoyable, Price :)
@Kewryn3 жыл бұрын
Technically you're correct (on the other hand the RNG can STILL end up giving the win to the same player over and over), but if it's really independent of your own skill or what you do, can you really enjoy the win, since you didn't really had a hand in it? Now I'm not trying to belittle anyone or anyone's tastes; I do play a bunch of games (board ones mostly) of varying degree of luck involved, but I do prefer to lose in a game that is determined by my own ability rather than win by pure luck (I'm also EXTREMELY unlucky in games, so there's also that ^^').
@mechanick3 жыл бұрын
@@Kewryn that's fair, and I wasn't trying to say it was "better" one way or the other, there's a time and place for both. I think in general, so long as everyone is on/near the same skill level, skill-based games are more enjoyable for everyone.
@mechanick3 жыл бұрын
@LarryLLazer for sure, and you feel like you're contributing more. My point was simply that RNG games (like "The Game of Life") can be enjoyable too. I think what makes Mario Party so aggravating to most people is that it's an RNG game that gives the illusion of competitiveness. It's an elaborate mess that could just as accurately been determined by a game of Rock Paper Scissors, but it FEELS like you should be able to do something about it.
@Kewryn3 жыл бұрын
@@mechanick to some extend that's probably true (I myself dislike the disproportion, even when I'm the one winning by a mile), but than I've also learned that you don't need to be good at something, to enjoy it ^^' I was lucky enough to find friends who mostly look to having a good time, rather than be set on winning and we used to play a lot of games when no-one got mad at losing... Stumpt kinda reminds me of said arrangement :D

Having seen other people stream this game it’s difficult because there’s very few places to put a face cam on screen - even more so for Stumpt. Also it’s four of them on screen instead of just one so that’s another issue size-wise… they have to be very picky about where they can put it.

10 turns in a Mario party game is far too short. 10 turns does not provide enough interesting situations during one Mario party game. I prefer drama that is created when your group play longer games.

I don't watch them often but I sense there is some tension between her and the guys. They react a lot to some of the things she does, which I personally find doesn't warrant that kind of response. I really hope that she starts exuding confidence and stop being so passive (apologizing) when playing. With that being said, 22:44 is legit the funniest thing I've seen all week🤣🤣🤣 she predicted her own future🤣😂
