Thank you for sharing Kat....so many great topics! I will definitely check out the home kit. Your ring is gorgeous! I have very few true friends. I have a lot of acquaintances but deep friendships are very hard to come by. I do have three very close friends and we have been friends since college. I also have a great friend I used to work with....it is one of those rare cases where we kept in touch after we both left the company and remained friends over the years. Usually, I don't keep in touch or get together with work friends after we leave the company and with work friends, I feel like we are always holding things back because we don't want to reveal too much to colleagues. The older I get, the harder it is to make new friends. College was the best time for me to make friends. There are a few people from high school and junior high I became closer to as adults....when I was in high school, we actually didn't have much in common. I consider them friends but not really close friends. I love your personality Kat. If we lived closer, I am pretty sure we would be good friends. But I live in the U.S. and you live in Singapore so it would be super hard for me to attend a meetup.

I did the injection thing, it’s called internal bleaching as my whole tooth was grey. It is a temporary thing which will last a few years depending how I take care of it. It is already a year since and I can see it is not as white but still a whole lot better than the dark grey tooth which I was soooo unhappy. I didn’t know that these whitening products can work on dead tooth (after root canal)?

I really don't have any friends physically around me since I had to move around so much because of my husband. And I don't share much background or interest with people at work. I still keep in touch with old college friends through facebook or see a few of them a few times a year when I travel, but it's really not the same since we live so far away. Sometimes it does not bother me at all, but other times, it's really difficult. Also, just making superficial friends through work, places you visit, or youtube does not feel like real friends. True friends are friends who are there for you without any judgement and support you through good and bad times.

I fully agree making friends at workplace tends to be complicated. But a few of my good friends now are ex-colleagues, once u leave the workplace, r/nships become simpler.

I think when we are grown ups, there’s so many competing commitments (kids, work, Hermes SA) and maybe we assume that we will fall into friendships in our everyday lives. But it takes time and effort.
