You took a pretty rare route, but very interesting. The Governor General house and Maurice Bishop's house were destroyed by hurricane Ivan in 2004

U should be careful walking up that road (first hill going up to fort Charlotte, Kingstown) It’s very known for brutal killing and robbery

I was warned away from the side road as you saw. But I only met nice people such as Debbie with the little market stand along the loop to Ft Charlotte. If anyone knows her, give her my warm regards.
