5 mahogany planks, 1 bolt of cloth, a saw
3 empty inventory slots
items suggested:
weight reducing armor and 2 stamina potions
nothing in your weapon and shield slot
food armor and weapon for the boss fight at the end
- - Use ranged or melee weapons
an amount of food depending on your agility level. The lower the level, the more food you need

1 Trollheim teleport
2 Keldagrim Entrance, east of Rellekka (fairy ring)
2 Draynor village
1 Varrock

Edit: 6:25 I found a trick for the 'tricky' part with the throwing trolls once you pick up the bucket. north of the western troll is a shortcut, if you click on it and you start running towards it, as in diagonally then quikly click ont the cave and you'll be in, worked my first attempt so i'm not sure of the fail rate , Love your questguides btw :D

For the boss fight, you don't need the mining boost, so It's advised to tell people not to bring a dragon pick considering it's an instance and a 7m item

When attempting to avoid the trolls rocks that they throw, if you're using Runelite (and the Quest Helper addon), it'll show arrows to stand on for the safe spots. Simply run from arrow to arrow, and within a few attempts you should pass them with no problem.

A little tip for running from the bucket to the cave: just north of the West troll is a boulder, click on it but JUST before you character gets there click on the cave to the north. Hope it helps

Hey I wanted to add something for all ironman and hardcore Ironman. I watched the guide wrong and realized that I was going to die in the second fight because I forgot to put out the fire so I could range mother. Anyways you might not be able to tele out but if you click the steps that take you down to the salt mine it will take you out of the battle and put you back next to the boat you came on!

I just completed this quest and a couple of things to note: You can leave the boss battle after defeating Dont know what, and you will commence the battle with mother. Another thing to note is the rewards are much better. 50k Agility and Mining XP, 40k Firemaking and 10k Construction.

Thanks for the guide! I think you should put an annotation/sticky telling people to watch the parts before they make the attempts at running past the rock throwing trolls on weiss, because if you try to watch the video while you're doing it, a boulder will hit you or the trolls will spot you (including in the cave, if you stop to watch the next part.) Failed like 3 times just because I was trying to watch the guide WHILE doing it myself. Other then that everything was good! Thanks again.

PRO TIP: If you just use an item in the hole, your character will automatically run straight to it without getting hit. This works in many areas of the game where you need to follow someone/reach something without getting hit or snagged on any obstacles.
