These are some amazing bifrost components !! ... Are these tools being developed for in house proprietary tech ? or for eventual implementation to Maya / bifrost as a toolset ? ... Is there anywhere that breaks down all the nodes and how to use them. I feel like I have an amazing procedural tool at my hands, yet no way of learning it.

The closest thing i used to this hair example is using Xgen to Unreal, it's pretty much the same method, generate guides, import guides into Unreal and the guides will simulate the hair instances, only difference here is that this is a custom tool so it can be tailored to your needs. This can also be used to bake the simulator to joints and drive the hair like that but it would no longer be dynamic.

houdini is more easy than bifrost regarding to vfx. and it is more like all-in-one compact tool, ready to engaged with game engines.. but i prefer to use maya for organic modeling, rigging and animation.. i hope autodesk to focus in these tools from artists point of view with tools like wide gltfs options in export and inport.. and to enhance bifrost to be more easy and user friendly tool.. i hope autodesk to merge plugins the buy inside the api and sdks so we can use them freely with custom codes.. thanks autodesk and side effects. Special thanks to blender and the FREE awesome opensource kings where you can do EVERTHING YOU WANT FOR ANY GAMES FOR FREE..
