Making Glamrock Freddy With Pipe Cleaners

Made Glamrock Freddy! Just wanted to announce that I’m going away from tutorials and I want to make different style videos. They will still be about my projects, but it won’t be a step by step on how to make them. Also about the animatronics I have made, I will not be making a video on any of them. These figures are really hard to make and take a lot of time. Hope you guys understand! I’m going to take a bit of a break from figures and do more simple projects, but when I start making figures again I promise they will be just as awesome! I really dig your style and techniques and i might incorporate them in some of my own future builds but here's a tip that can really improve upon your skillset. I now that you either use a lot of pipecleaners or just straight up leave some of the pieces hollow (glamrock freddy's chest not included). Try using paper to bulk up your build and keep the figure at a fairly light weight and waste less pipecleaners than needed. This also help the figure stand better if you want to build at a larger scale since you seem to be building around a 12 inch or higher scale where as i usually do around a 3 to 9 inch scale. Regardless, take this like. You deserved it!!

Thank you! I’ve seen people fill up their figures with tin foil or paper but I’ve chosen to strictly use pipe cleaners. And the reason why it doesn’t stand very well is because I wanted to make the limbs able to move but also have the support to make it stand. It was very difficult to do so I think for future figures I want to just make them completely stiff. I appreciate your feedback though!

@@fuzzyfrenchfry @FuzzyFrenchFry if you want to have your figurr stand and strictly be pipe only, then you're gonna have to realistically work at a smaller or medium scale. Anywhere from 3 to 7 inches can give you the results you want with 5 inches being the golden number. Since your figurines already have flat feet, you really don't have to do anything else. In any case, I'm more than happy to give you anymore tips or pointers if you want and you're very welcome.

He’s about 15 inches tall, but I don’t plan on adding any other measurements because there’s a lot of adjustments that I make as I go and it might not be helpful. It’s kinda like clay, you can only show how you formed it. Hope you understand!
