My parents were the older parents (my dad was 36, my mom 33 when I was born which now is more normal) who didn't participate in a lot of physical activities however they were very involved with everything we did so I think so highly of my parents! I have the best memories with my dad teaching me how to shoot a firearm and drive a car and my mother loving shopping, going to the hairdresser every 2 weeks (she's serious about that!) and her sorority meetings that we now do as sorors. Best memories ever!

I had the "old" parents too, same age as yours, and I was the youngest. They definitely supported everything I did. My Dad took me fishing and me and my Mom got our hair done together. But no to video games and stuff. LOL

I have so many memories with my parents and siblings. My father made sure we knew our cousins. He would drive 3 hours to pick them up and we would go visit all the time. I miss him very much but have all those memories to keep and pass on.

Not having kids I spend quality time with nieces. Taking to school/pick up on occasions and make it eventful giving a little treat & pics to cherish. Attending Back to School nights, Field Trips, sporting events, and annual summer trips. My goal let them experience as much as possible: Amtrak, airplane, & taxi cab rides. Now all 3 are in college so now we have a 21st birthday trip they pick destination and I plan. Now older take to nice restaurants, flew once first class, stay in a 5-stars hotel...to show them work hard and save for events. Life is about choosing what important. Show up when possible on their job dropping off lunch. Seeing the smile it’s worth it! Sloan for my nieces: If I got it...U got it🥰

I’m 19 and my parents have been married since before I was born but my dad passed the middle of my 10th grade year and some of my best memories with both of them is going to the movies or watching movies at home every weekend and with just my dad it was just joy riding and looking and different houses and now with my mom it’s are midnight talks. Or when I was little my mom and I singing our special before I went to bed and then after my dad got off work him reading me a bedtime story.
