He uses oil based clay and then Makes a mold from the clay sculpture. Oil based clay does not dry out it is very stiff but softens with heat.

The wire used in this skeleton is definitely not 14 gauge (1.4 mm). I watched the skeleton video lesson and thought it was great, but this information (14 gauge) confused me a little.

Rather than using smaller wire I'll just get large paper clips. Just as good and cheap and uniform cut
