What materials did you use to sculpt the head/pads and boots? Is that all sculptey?

hello, the parts are made in epoxy resin, the original parts of the armor are sculpted in epoxy clay and then I made molds, greetings

Nice work! You did an excellent job with the He-Man figure! Do you plan to make other MOTU movie figures too, like Skeletor, Teela, Man-At-Arms or Evil-Lyn? @@hellmetalhead Can you handle the figures without it coming off or is just for display? I read that cel vinyl painting was the one toy manufacturers use on figures, is a special painting that adheres to plastic, first created to use on animation cels.

@@heroesytumbas well, most of the time the paint stays in place, that's why i put a coat of primer on it first. but sometimes the paint does come off, gloss black tends to dull and dull if handled too much

I wonder why you didn't paint the accessories first before you installed them? Is there any reason? Actually how did you get the molds for the head and everything? Great job tho great paint job

there really isn't a precise reason, I'm just used to making this figure this way, the molds are made of silicone and the copies in epoxy resin, thanks for watch my video

Ok first of all great video, music was great and it didn't get annoying halfway through, really kept me engaged. Secondly great job on the figure it self! But now I have so many questions about your process did you sculpt those pieces yourself? Where did you get the pieces you molded? and the sword! where did you get the sword? did you make that yourself? I've just so many questions right now. Great video you've got a new subscriber keep it up. Took me back to my childhood.

Noice job, but I have a couple questions if you've got the time: 1) is there a reason the shoulder pads and chest emblem were glued on before painting? It would probably reduce the possibility of accidental overreach while painting if they were painted before gluing, but perhaps the parts wouldn't affix as well if that was done? 2) was the right bracer left skin-colored on purpose? It looks a bit off, but I don't know if that was a detail from the film or something.

I dunno, the orange stains all over the figure seem quite off to me. Also, why did you attach the strings to the armor before painting the shoulder pieces? You've got color on He-Mans left string connecting the shoulder armor and the chest armor. Shouldn't you have painted those pieces before attaching the strings?

That’s an awesome He-Man figure you made in this video.Too bad this He-Man 1987 movie actionfigure was never part of the Masters of the universe vintage toy line,but a year after Mattel made the laser power He-Man action figure with the traditional He-Man head or Dolph Lundgren head. It would be very nice if you make another version of this figure with the Dolph Lundgren head.

@@hellmetalhead in fact forget Dean Cain, heres suggestion for toys I would have loved in the 80s: figures made of the heroic Prince Talon (Lee Horsely) & the evil Titus Cromwell (Richard Lynch) from the excellent 1982 movie THE SWORD AND THE SORCERER. I imagine the he-man figures would be perfectly utilized into those characters & with the flying sword & other weapons they would look truly spectacular.
