Btw as for sidechaining, when I want to sidechain but feel like it cuts too deep holes into my mix I sometimes experiment with sidechsining only certain parts of the frequency spectrum (like only the low end or so) for a more balanced result. But yeah, I only do that occasionally.

What's this spectral time plugin? Feels like such a cheatcode making shakers out of hats and changing the tone of synths like that. I'm on FL, are there any alternatives in vst? Also very dope track, it's really interesting seeing your workflow and sound design process.

I don't know of any VST alternatives if they exist unfortunately! But glad you're liking the vids :)

This was just amazing! I'd love to follow aong more, I'd appreciate if you could do some quick explainations on the side of some of the tools and or shortcuts you use or what ya use them for. Not a fullblown tutorial but just something that'd maybe help people like me who know some basics to get deeper into the subject while watching you killing it :)

no fucking way u can swing audio in the arrangment view... i always made a midi track that followed the rythm of the hats, added swing and consolidated, then manually aligned the audio of the hats to the midi... live saver
@NeddieOfficial Жыл бұрын
Oh wow, yeah that's one way to do it but def a bit of a process 😅 the way I did it in this video only works if you have your hihat pattern specifically on the offbeats that you want swung, so 16th notes and every 2nd and 4th hihat get delayed, that's all I'm doing hahaha

this is nice but that lead is just way too grating, liquid dnb is the nice soft genre for chilling to and it's just way too loud.
