Oh, my goodness, I love you, you are so special. I am so proud of you young lady. I am an old lady and I never hear of anyone doing the old ways anymore. You are a special person. Thank you. I do most or all of my homemade stuff. Used too. Alone now so for one I dont need much anymore. Still do all my canning , went from gallons and quarts to pints and 1 /2 pints. Bless you

I realize this is one of your older videos but I ❤❤❤ mustard. my mother used to tell me that everything I wore had a bit of mustard on it. LOL! Thank you for this and your other mustard videos. I think a selection of homemade mustard would make a pretty cool gift! (well, it would for me anyway)

Thank you, this recipe is so easy and wonderful. There is nothing in the ingredients to indicate that this would have a problem being long term stored. I would be happy to use this in canning recipes.

Pro tip - if you want to make spicy mustard - add 2 tbl spoons of warm water to 1/2cup of mustard powder. Stir and let it sit 24h on counter. Than you can add other ingredience ( vinegar, oil, salt, turmeric, paprika). I am always used to eating spicy European mustard.

Thanks for this, I just got that same bottle of dry mustard today and am looking forward to making some mustard, I like the extra bit of kick you get using dry mustard, other recipes are usually just dry mustard and water so I like your addition of other flavors to the mix.

Great to know how to make in case you run out of your favorite store bought Leisa. My sister in law always made HOT mustard to eat with her baked ham. She used Coleman's Mustard powder. The directions are right on the side of the can. (You need a magnifying glass to read it...just saying. Have a Blessed day.

Awesome!!! Thank you!! I am a mustard lover, not big on the ketchup. Even prefer mustard instead of ketchup when it comes time to eat my hashbrowns!! Yum! Any chance you have a recipe for stone (brown) mustard or something akin to hickory farms sweet hot mustard? I will even take a version of McD's original hot mustard (not the weak version they use now).

@markdavis27014 жыл бұрын
Really good... Only thing I have to do different is the time. There is no way I can cook it for 30 minutes before adding vinegar. At just 15 minutes it comes out extremely thick already. Same with after adding the vinegar. I had to stop at 10 minutes because it was way too thick already. I don't see how one could go past 15 and 10 without ruining it but maybe its because I'm using a stainless steel pot and not ceramic. Not complaining just for others who might be in my same scenario. Appreciate the video tho. Won't be buying mustard from the store anymore.
