well said and good initiative.....my humble personal opinion is we need to make our sports events more glamorous .......coz only then audience will come in which is very important and is the back bone .........comparison - how is bollywood that big - coz of the glamour , money, pomp and show - people will die to do anything for just a movie ticket even - same way if sports gives such glamorous events - what i mean is - be it any sports event being conducted (football , kabbadi , athletics, water sports , gymnastics, cycling etc etc) give it a glamorous outlooks , good facilities at stadium or arena - pomp and show it again - bring more pr workers into it - glamours ads to be given - make the event colorful , lively and pleasing to eye to watch - then surely indian audience will change their attention from bollywood to sports - more audience means more sponsors , more athlets , sports will grow by itself - best example is kabbadi - it was not watched but when it became 'vivo pro kabbadi' - glamorous - the sports just changed - same could happen with any sport event - its a long hard way but it could happen - i feel there shoud be more pr works needed to promote sports , to get more sponsors in - and boy india needs HD sports channels - just not for cricket but for all lesser know sports in the country

Poor guy is not a good public speaker. Doesn't mean he isn't doing his bit to promote sports.
