Love the idea and the creativity. I do think you’d see the powder even better on white or bone non-translucent baits. Think of the light as refracting outwards as opposed to through the bait. Fun project! Thanks for sharing!!!

Paul, could a clear spray adhesive work? Spray the lure, then sprinkle(with a salt shaker), allow to dry. Spray adhesive may have a lasting “flavor”?

Back in the 70s a plastic worm company made glow in the dark worms. I had a few of them and they actually worked great!! Fished the last ones I had during a night time tournament in July of 92. Took second place due to my outbound motor breaking down on my way to weigh in.

also you will need a scale that measures in grams to get you epoxy perfectly rock solid you prob just put a little more resin in than hardener. Both the resin/hardener weigh different so even if you can get equal amounts in the cups looking with your eyes their will be a small difference which means it will be a little soft. Hope that makes sense lol

I came real close to catching a fish today using a glow shrimp lure. I got the fish out of the water and he let go of the lure. This was the closest I got to catching a fish so far.
