Interesting build. I have found the Vexor Trainer and higher tier Vexor Ships also takes advantage of the Railguns with a bonus of having the extra drones to further boost your defenses against Frigates and Destroyers.

Thx for the vid. Small tip: stagger your hardeners so they don't all hit your cap at the same time. Not a big issue running a battery, but every little bit helps when managing cap.

@Excounder, I run something like this but a Thorax armor rep version. Although I use an afterburner, and a nos, because I mostly do encounters. cap is pretty stable this way. I am also running armor plates instead of another hardener because because of that "oh snap" moment i need to get my armor up a bit just in case ( also the passive armor is great). Solid vid, fly safe o7

You can do a very similar build with the Rupture, +25% shield bonus, -25% medium cannon activation time, +25% medium cannon tracking speed. Same lower slots as your build, fitted with 4 autocannons. Fully skilled it gives 300+ dps and +35k hp. Absolutely breezes T7 and 8 encounters without breaking a sweat!

Im probably gonna start focusing more tanky ship like this one. I lost 3 caracal navy feds to date, and honestly the work i put into fitting those 3 shipa and losing them kinda discourages me to play anymore. The drake is a very tanky ship and a popular choice for PvP in eve online, so is recommend just keep training to T8 and fly it when you can, run warp core stabilization as well, it will also put all those medium missile and tank skills you trained for the caracal

I have been using 2x of the Magnetic Field Stabilizers vs the Adaptive Invulnurabilty Shields thinking the extra damage might offset the loss in defense, but I can see from your video that's not a good option. Thanks for the info.

Nice video, I've seen missile Moas in the Caldari encounters that seems to be running AB. I've run them in my AB Caracal Navy and they still seem to stay about 21k away when orbiting with my AB on.

Have you tried dropping that Reactive hardener and replacing that with an AB? Higher speed really lets you take quite a bit less damage from missile rats (Guristas).

Depends how quickly you clear them and how lucky you get with loot. Imo if you can clear a medium in 20 mins you'll make more clearing nul sec because you don't have to spend time warping between encounters

He means the capacitor battery. He uses it to give a large influx of cap then burns through it with his shield booster to save his actual cap from being used up. Given how slowly he takes damage this gives him essentially unlimited cap and shield boosting.

This is why I'm tanking solo lmao. If I was a fleet tank I'd either be armor or I'd go double small booster over a cap battery and look to get cap stable. This is looking to get a balance between dps and tanking

That's the confirmed penalty for using 2 of the same module or rig that have stacking penalties
