i think there's a level of authenticity in newjeans that makes it comfortable to watch. like when the girls don't want to talk they just don't and they're comfortable being that way in camera. if they want to say something it seems like they say it without worrying. they also don't act cute or funny just because they're on camera. at the same time, just by being themselves, they are entertaining already because the life they are living now is truly so different from most people's.

ADOR marketing budget might be hella big. They literally build those shooting sets just for 5 or 10 seconds. In normal kpop mv, there’re two sets showing dances, members’ close up scene, three outfit change and done. For newjeans ,they literally hire the whole production team, build the whole sets and rent the school. Like they built train and flower sets for Hyein, rent a motorbike for 5 sec dani riding scene, the whole VFX production for Hanni’s iPhone, rent an ambulance and doodle on it. And don’t forget they brought a real deer to the shoot and hire top fresh actors for ditto instead of using cheap alternative as trainees or Hybe BG members. I swear their mv might cost the same as short films.

All 4 songs of debut album were made in MV, 4 different versions of music video, shooting in Spain...Ditto and omg's music videos are also different classes. And the idol music video that tried art and philosophy, not just the size of the funding, was very amazing.
