📚🔖✂️ Making Journal Cards And Tags From Scraps ✂️🔖📚 - Ideas for using paper scraps

What do you do with you scrap papers? Out of my scrap card stock alone I made a total of 68 Journal Cards and 153 Journal Tags (bases only) in the last two days. Then any tiny tiny scraps went into a bucket to make handmade paper at a later date. Please think twice before you throw your scraps in the garbage next time. ♥♥♥

I throw all my scraps in a bin at my desk and when it gets full I must go through and make what I can from it. Tabs, tiny tags, teeny tiny envelopes, mini journal cards, collage whatever I can think of to use it. It’s like a game. Some little bits do end up in recycle bin though. You really know how to mass make for sure, love it! Have a beautiful day!

Thank you Sherry. This bunch was just smaller bits of cardstock. I might do a mass make video of my stash of scrap paper. I love making tiny envelopes, and stripped cards/tags etc from scrap paper. as it works great for these projects. Have a wonderful rest of your day also ☺♥

Hi, Joan. I keep all of my scraps too. Some I use for die-cutting, and then for the leftover small pieces, I use my tiny punches, like butterflies and flowers. I don't like to waste anything either. Like you, I find it hard (actually, impossible) to cut a straight line with scissors, but I like to use my paper trimmer to cut. You made an amazing amount of tags and journal cards, so impressive. I haven't been able to craft lately but hopefully soon. Jett looks so cute in the window. Wishing you a blessed evening, my friend.

I keep many more scraps than I actually need, but I do try to discard as well. I just got one of those slanted punches recently - that makes it pretty easy to make little tags from the scraps. Great video Joan - thanks for the demo.

Thank you Kathleen. It is hard to put paper in the garbage as you can tell I wasted nothing here. What slanted punch is it that you use? Can you send me a pic please? I wasn't going to make so many different sizes of tags and cards but wanted to use up these scraps. I still have a few more bins to go through so will see what I will make with them..
