Great work! You may consider cleaning them up with hot file or stiff wire brush. The smoother the surface the less likely to mark your work with them. But not polished fire scale helps you to grip. Not a critique as yours are way better than the early ones I made, just a pointer I wish I'd been given earlier. Thank bro Anthony Kent

Anthony Kent not sure if you saw that I did a bit of hot filing and brushing with a block brush. But I could have done more. I’m not able to include everything in the videos cause I’m so damn slow. Thanks!

Rusty Pearson told you it was great work lol ! Thanks bro for the response. It's very kind of you we know that you must be very busy. I couldn't do the videos at all!!! It's just I'd hate your work to pick up the marks my work picked up. I was sure it wasn't my tongs but it was lol thanks bro Anthony Kent

Should of used a larger rivet to keep a head over the boss.

Kj Owens the hole is actually tapered on this one which is why it’s inset. Doesn’t mean I’m right though. Thanks

what di you make that anvil out of?
@RustyPearson6 жыл бұрын
Dustin Dixon you see me making it over the last 10 month of video. 1 audition at a time. Started with an old steel machine die from a scrap yard.

and your anvil is about 3 to 4 inches too short for you you need to be standing straight as you can and the top of your anvil needs to just barely brush you knuckles

Dustin Dixon yeh! Technically it’s only 1 inch off the knuckles. But I need a better base anyway. It’s jacked up with wood rather than being one solid piece.
