So many roses are bred for their looks rather than their scents now, which rose petals do you recommend?

To be honest, any can be used. While the different colours can be associated with different themes (I'll try to add Colour Magick to my list of videos to do), there's nothing stopping you from using yellow rose petals instead of the pink that I've used. What matters most is your intention and that it feels right at that moment for you to use the rose petals.

What would you use instead of chamomile?

Rose is actually the traditional flower substitute but Lavender, Valerian, or even Mint could be used in its place.
