I have been struggling with it feeling like Christmas, too. What helped me was stopping the hustle and finally taking some time for myself. I just chilled, put on peaceful Christmas music and stared at my tree for awhile. It was wonderful and rejuvenating. Hope you can find the Christmas spirit, too.

I've never seen pizza made that way before. Usually, sauce is put on first, then cheese, and lastly, the toppings. Very different. I'll have to make it that way for something different😊

I love how when you say "were gonna make some cookies" and Paisley quickly turned to look at you. 😄 I think Christmas started getting harder to get excited about when my youngest became a teen. It's a process but Paisley will bring that back, as she gets older. Funny story about burning the sausage, I did that the first night my now husband was coming to dinner. I was making pizza and my mom joked with him that we were having pizza with raisins. My husband (to be) was so smitten he said "Oh okay sounds good!" and he ate it totally believing my mom. We got one of those deep dish pizzas in chicago and I learned that they put the sausage in raw and let it cook in the oven. That's why they take sooooo long to cook.
