My recommendation is to wash with cold water and dish soap if it starts really shedding in the process stop and let it dry

I use Goof Off professional adhesive remover for glue seepage. If you’re a kid you will need an adult to do the job as the remover is pretty toxic. Then I use a conditioner to put moisture back in the hair.
