@@bhavyadedania3476 Tbh, it's up to you. Gathering journals typically take longer to fill as you do have to gather with the journals on you but with crafting journals you can fill them at the stations much faster and without moving. That being said, you can compliment gathering labourers with crafting labourers such as mining and blacksmith, woodcutting and fletching or tailoring and fiber.

what about if you build toolmaker on your island? is it worth space? or is better to have house for labourers?

@@perZER0 Not really, the reason being that you won't have the bonus you would have in all major cities or the larger bonus from Caerleon. You also need to give food to the worker which will reduce your maximum returns.

One tip, you need to have premium on your account to buy a personal island, but you dont have to own a personal island to do this, just create a new character, create a guild, buy a guild island and give the co-owner status to your main account, you will save 8M (current premium price) per guild island, you will also reduce the time you take to collect everything from the every laborer evety day, since on your island you need to go from house to house to collect everything, using the guild island you will onle have 1 big hall with 15 laborers in a single line, the material price of the guild hall is also the same as 5 houses on personal islands.

Elphin to build guild hall you need 900 blocks of each type if I am not wrong but private island only 180

Yea 100%. I agree the investment into the labourers can be long and expensive but from 4 islands I make 1-2+ mil min a day easy. Then again, it's not for everyone.

Are the numbers assuming you gather and fill all your journals yourself? I don't see cost included anywhere in your numbers. For example the last part of the video you mention being able to sell empty journals for 111,762 silver, but what is the cost of those journals? if you bought it from your laborers how much did that cost? if it was returned to you from the laborer you would have had to purchase it initially right? that 111,762 can't be pure profit can it?

When you go to get your materials from the labourer the next day they will always give you empty journals back to refill, obviously I couldn't refill all of them so you can sell them as you see in the vid. Hope this helps

Just the trophies, hence it's only useful when you aim at powerleveling your laborers and need to fill journals quickly or buy cheap full journals from the market.

Mercenary is the worst labourer, their earnings is the lowest.

Hey, great question! No they wouldn't and the reason being is that the journals are filled based on the fame of the activity you are doing so. if you generate 10k fame from crafting, that 10k is the max you will receive. If you only have tinkering journals it will fill 10k's worth but if you have generalist journals on you as well, then it will put 10k in the tinkering journals and 10k in the generalist journals. Also note that it requires more fame to fill a generalist journal over a crafting one.

So depending on the type of labourer they will bring back a higher supply of a certain resource. Tinkers highest resource back is Wood. Blacksmiths highest resource would be Metal Bars. Check this out here: wiki.albiononline.com/wiki/Laborer

@@XerczGaming Awesome, thank you. I didnt even know that page existed. So according to the wiki, tinkerers only bring back planks, that's not really correct. Do blacksmiths/tinkerers bring back leather too? Even minimally? I'm trying to figure out what to actually craft from my laborers resources and was hoping I'd have more options. (Since I'm doing blacksmith) I was thinking I could also make spears or daggers since they are also metal based

Ahh yea, don't know why the Wiki has that. Blacksmiths are Metal > Wood > Cloth - No Leather at all. I have BS labourers on another island also. Tinkers are Wood > Metal > Cloth > Leather

So I'm assuming if we were to use the same tier journals and have the same return rate via happiness and such, my blacksmith's would bring the same amount of materials back as your tinkerers? Kaljestro you are limited in terms of farm plots and house plots, you can only place so many of each unfortunately

@@XerczGaming thank you for the fast answer, can you tell me what you think is the best overall setup? like 1x house 1x refining station of choice, alch lab stable etc since this is most likely a "depends on what you want" thing: I want my island to mainly make me profit, I prefer not having to put too much time into it like I prefer simple gathering over complicated crafting chains, as long as the profit loss due to simplicity isn't too high. Otherwise I'd also be willing to do more complicated stuff

Thank you for the video. I can't understand how you get profit from crafting. I made some calculation of materials costs, max return percentage, journals and found out items on the market twice cheaper you can get by crafting. For example, to make a T6 bow costs ~50k silver (without focus) but on the AH it is 25k each. Seems like selling materials from labourers is better than use it for crafting.

I make my wages on blocks, and boy u won't believe how much they sell instantly for 900 blocks building GH. especially, for new comers. im at LYM and blocks resource is the most expensive at T6-8. then switch to other laborers when I find fortune in crafting. and they say these rocks don't grow roots. xD

You dont really need trophies to get 150%. With a house of t7 and all furnitures, bed and table also at t7, and labour at t7. And give them t6 journal, you will get 150%. Without any trophies.

Do you need three beds for 3 laborers? I plop down one bed for x2 laborers and they are at 100/100 in their bed happiness (despite the game saying 1 per laborer)

Are you using other types of trophies and not generalist ones? It may work I've actually never tested it. I'll remove some form mine and see but the general rule of thumb is how I have them set up.

But aywho..x2 of them are only T3 and the other T2 or whatnot..perhaps that matter...I tiered up the two and have a t5 bed and a t4 bed and they all are 100/100 for bed happiness...lemme know what ya figured out...I was swapping stuff for hours

@@SwizZLe333 For the T5+ houses you will have 3 labourers, anything below a T5 house you will have only 2 so this may skew the happiness ratings. Also, you don't have to have your labourers at 100% happiness for example at 4:04 the labourer will only get to 625/700 but they will still return 150% to me for a lower Tier journal

It really depends on what Tier materials he is taking 50% of, If you are going down the premium route i would suggest grabbing your own Guild Island and build everything yourself so you don't lose money via 'Renting'

I can give you advice how to build faster t6 houses us I saw your island - run in bz gather slate 1 run with full set t8 and mount worth 500k will bring you 3 houses plus us you use focus on higer blocks it will be like 2 days and all your island will be t6 houses but tnx for info now I saw where I can use toolmakers now just need to see and check market

Yea, I'm super lazy even though I have T8 quarrier. So I used the focus on one character to refine slate which I brought the base materials from the market. But I agree with you, it can be done more efficiently for sure

It really depends on the markets to be fair. I use a lot of T5 mats but T6 and T7 have their worth which can be a lot higher with good crafting skills

I have two premium characters that I use typically. For the farms I use all of one characters full focus to water them, aim for T6+ crops or herbs as you will only need to water like 4 on each plot to yield enough seeds to replant, also as your spec in the crop or herb rises the less focus it costs to water so you can water more if you wish.

Doesn’t matter which farming you do herbs crops after reaching max spec your focus will be a lot of over which you might use in refining materials for making more silver.... I am now on 52 spec on mushrooms 🍄 use 24 plots from 45 total to water 240 for now cost me focus per plot .... left over focus I collect and craft blocks for my guild island when it’s down I will do refining for profit with focus

Hey, you can use gathering labourers and fill quarrier journals which you can then give back to the labourers for a good return. These are not as easy as crafting because of the time taken to fill a gathering journal in the first place

I have 21 fetcher labourers each t6 minimum, every house is t5 and rest stuff t5 atleast, I am t5 in daggers (crafting) others are t4. I put t4 books for now, and craft everything into daggers/hunter boots which sell for a lot, I have a lot of planks left every day cause I have only one option to use planks in - bows,and bows are very underpriced.. How do I make money, I can't make enough just by selling stuff and I am having troubles buying prem every 2 months also so can't make house t6 too

Jok Luthor I run now private island full with t6 workers and use t5 or t6 journals depending on price and growing herbs so I make around 8-9 mil silver without crafting I don’t understand your problem.... might be don’t craft journals??.. Now I just finished guild main house with 15 workers will take a time to get them till t6 to get back max t5 recourses... if you need slate we can make deal or I can show you where to gather it do it with horse if you want or giant stage 🙂

To be honest, when i'm starting out, I fame farm solo dungeons. From T4 blue zones you can generate 100-200k in an hour or 2 easy

Skinning and Solo dungeons/Group dungeons is the way to go. Go for t5 dungeons as soon as possible, then mb try some red areas around carleon. People say it is THAT much better but really there are so few portals you only get good cosntant dungeons if you're lucky/far away from main cities, which increases the danger-meter. i would stick to t5's for a while

@@mahjiza3872 still didn't work for me my house table,bed all level 6....i used tinker labourer with t5 journal yield is 105% dafug wasted silver... I use general trophy sequence 2-6 five each total=25 happiness=25....there is still space but can't increase more from general trophy...and there is no trophy that increase happiness for tinker only general trophy.... Wasted silver... Millions..
