Very cool build! I have a CBR 600R I used to race and now just sits in my garage. I’ve thought about doing a similar build, but have never had the heart to cut the bike up. I’ve always thought it would be interesting to build a similar quad, but with an independent rear using A arms. That would make a nice edition to our 85 and 86 ATC 250Rs. It would be super fun at Glamis and a total hooliganism ride if I could keep a plate on it with some DOT tires. In Arizona it could be done, but in SoCal, it’s a hard no.

Love you and your friends videos. The only fatal design flaw is the rear axle. There is not enough support between the wheel and bearing. It WILL bend on the first hard bump. Cheers!

One (somewhat ignorant) question: how do you turn a corner with this? Just drift? No differential? I think it's a shame to destroy such a beautiful motorbike to create such a non-functional piece of junk... But it's pretty.
@neafranklin790514 күн бұрын
99% of sport quads don't have a rear diff . Yamaha , Suzuki , Kawasaki , KTM , and so many more .. their sport racing versions all have solid rear axle . Most cheaper units have solid rear axle as well as to keep prices down .

You have built the whole framework of heavy mild steel. Have you got any engineering degree from a certified engineering college? Its a 600cc motor. Do you know any such formula. About Power to weight ratio? Seems like you know mig and tig welding, and how to use a basic lathe and basic mechanical fitting. Sorry this contraption is a total failure.

You should have tuned the engine. Sounds awful at top revs. Not a very successful build as it is. Such a shame you have to try and prove you are an idiot at high revs and spinning the rear wheels.
@neafranklin790514 күн бұрын
Let's see your build 😉... I'm sure if you have strong opinions.. you must have done better .
@ianallen214 күн бұрын
@@neafranklin7905 When I build something, I make sure it runs perfect. I dont video my builds or restorations. I am not foolish nor am I one who thinks that earning money by making video's is great. But I am sure you do not know which end of w tool to hold.
@chrisscoleri23418 күн бұрын
You must be proud of your ignorance because you show it off so well. He’s bouncing it off the rev limiter genius. My guess is you have never built anything and just make nonsense comments about other people’s work. If you think he’s acting like an idiot because of the way he’s riding it you must have zero familiarity with ATVs or bikes. You do realize, he has to break the rear end loose to turn it effectively, right? That’s the nature of solid axles, they create lots of understeer unless you break the rear loose and use a controlled oversteer. You do understand the difference between solid and differentiated axels? You know, with all that knowledge and build experience you desperately want everyone to believe you have. Try un-puckering your sphincter for a minute, enjoy the build for what it is, and maybe give the guy some encouragement for exercising some creativity.
