Having just watched the ride video , would a dual crown fork be a better bet ? The crown and steerer must be under tremendous load with a single crown fork, regardless of the diameter of the legs ?

Yep but if it ever twists round with that much weight behind it I’m worried it’ll potentially chop the head tube off even with all the extra bracing. Felt way better with the Zeb anyway

That's a fair point, maybe some lock stops fitted to the frame would help prevent that happening. Kudos to you and Freya for a great effort
