Making multi layered mandala designs

Hey Marc do you have a tutorial showing how to make a layer of just part of your design? Such as you have a bird and you want to take his wing and make it a stand alone piece to cut out. I hope that makes sense.

Hey, I’m not 100% sure what you mean. Do you want to be able to make something like a body of a bird and have a separate wing to be able to place on top?

Your best option would be to create the outline of the bird body and the wing as two separate pieces. Duplicate the wing and union with body and then you should be able to layer the wing on top. If you’re not sure I can make a quick short tomorrow of how to do it 👍🏻

What type of paint are you using?

I always use just a simple acrylic paint. It’s cheap and applies very well 👍🏻
