Making my Accordion Journal -

Hello friends,
Today, I am making my accordion journal for #JunkJournalJuly2024. I really struggle with accordion flippy floppy things. However, I watched a variety of videos on this process, specifically for JunkJournalJuly. I watched Joanne over at Heart to Home Crafts. She did an excellent job which helped me make my own.
As I have mentioned before, I will be participating but I am not forcing myself in a box regarding this. I may do multiple prompts in one spread, or I may do several days off camera, and come back and do one on camera.

I totally understand! I've thought about swimming but I have a lot of scars on my upper arms. The selfconscienceness of that is very hard. Good for you!!!

I love how it turned out. I struggle too w/the way Meg does hers. TFS this way of doing the accordion with file folders. Genius. 😊btw, the other journal also looks lovely. I hope you do use it and bring us along as well. I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip. Enjoy your swim. 😊

Hey Cara-Renee. I'm just using a regular junk journal for my junk journal july. I get all confused when trying to use an accordion style booklet. 😅 My question for you today is: when you brush coffee dye do you use hot or cold/room temp coffee? Also, do you brush on more than one coat? Like once it dries do you do another round of coffee dyeing? Two parter question. 😊 your journal turned out great. ❤

This is the first time ever that I have brushed on coffee to paper. I loved it though. I only did one layer 😊 I get confused by accordion things too. My goal in this challenge is to create a little more loosely and scrappy so I am hoping the accordion will work well ♥️
