Making My Autumn Capsule Wardrobe | The Anna Edit

I would love to see a series where you choose one multi functional piece from your wardrobe and show us five different ways to style it. For example, the denim jacket. Or one specific cream coloured chunky knit. Or that big chunky cardi. Or one white button up styled five different ways. You get the idea. I tend to always wear the same items the exact same way. everydayshannon • Do you mean you wear items only in certain combinations? I can’t imagine that. I hardly ever wear the same outfit twice. Or do you mean multifunctional in the sense that you really wear something with a different purpose/function? Because usually, a jacket is just a jacket, regardless of how you combine them.

Loving the idea of an capsule wardrobe!! Just a tip to think about: with the turtle neck shirts and jumpers, please put the hanger through the bottom of the shirt, not from the collar side!! Putting the hanger through the collar streches the heck out of the shirt. Hope that made any sense 😂

You need a collapsable step stool to slip on the side of your drawers. It's life changing when it comes to reaching the top shelves of your wardrobe!

Hi Anna! Not sure if you care, but it's better on turtleneck knitwear to bring the hanger up through the bottom of the garment so as not to stretch out the neck or shoulders. Sorry for being pedantic, but I spent a lot of time working in retail having this drilled into me. Love your channel so much btw!

As I was walking the dog this morning (lol) I thought it'd be interesting to watch you style yourself for events or things totally outside your normal bailiwick - like what you'd wear to a punk show or a hippie commune. And do it up all the way - makeup, hair, accessories, etc. I know it's not your usual content, but a fun take on capsule wardrobes and could show how versatile they really are.

Having a work "uniform" definitely helps! I basically do a two week workwear rotation and then everything else is weekend/occasion wear.
