I loved this and know exactly the puffy coat I want to use but when I saw your comment? Yes! I will have two projects over the holidays (as I am staying in/staying home thanks to COVID lovinf me so much-hoho-noooo). My grandmother passed away 1year ago and I remember as a child she would tell me, every woman should know how to sew. She had the old school sewing machine, needles threads. She wanted to start sewing again but never did. Come to find out I learned that she used to sew/ make dresses for the women in the church. I want to learn, I want to finish what she started. How can a person such as myself learn how to sew without using the KZbin tutorials. I have so many ideas and designs and creativity that I'd love to produce. Not likely that it's fear it's moreso because of the time. It's been an intriguing want to learn since my youth. My grandmother, aunt and mother had sewing machines when I was a child and would sew some clothes that we would wear when we couldn't afford name brands and just as proud to wear them because the time that they took to use their gifts as if they were cooking as well. They did it as well. Now I want to be that passionate for a skill that rarely gets invested into. It's like a lost art. Thank you for your upcycles and your sharing.
