@@TheLichsLaboratory Both red and gold skeletons ARE cool. Absolutely. I went with regular bone-colored skeletons for my own undead army, because I'm a sucker for the classics. But I lament I didn't use red or gold, as both look freaking sweet. Especially since I recently finished my Necromancers, and they have gold trim on their black cloaks to signify their prodigious wealth. I think I could still get away with using red or gold for more elite skeletons or skeleton character models in the future, as I haven't done any of those yet. Just to make them stand out from the rest of the Bone Patrol.

In truly necromantic fashion, you can reanimate that photon. I had photon s, bought mono upgrade kit from chitubox, that mono screen in modern printers is a huge upgrade over early rgb screens in photon/photon s. Unless your photon is failing mechanically. Those layer lines on zombies suggest wobbly build plate, so maybe whole carriage is a bit loose, or lead screw is worn, or just not lubed enough. But you are right, mono 4k is just straight up upgrade. It will have much smaller pixel size compared to even upgraded photon. But to naked eye, under couple layers of paint... Eh, mono photon s is doing just fine for me

It may be the screw that secures the build plate then. It being a freely positioned ball really gave me a lot of issues when I was learning to level it, which is why I was glad to see that the Mono was a lot easier to level lol

I love the wight there, I keep thinking about getting one for other uses...I have the Krell mini that came out at the same time. Some of the things with the Vampire Counts skeletons are things I like, but all in all back when playing Fantasy, I ended up going with Mantic for the majority of my undead with several characters being Reaper and GW ones, though I went with a blue moon "dracula's carriage" for a black coach, and I was using werewolves for something else with a counts as... My main army was more of the WarCraft Scourge with basing them for snow and ice along with preferring the icy blue glow that freezes spines rather than the green or purple from other undead. Fel Bat gargoyles using the mantic ghoul/zombies and some parts from reapers "dragon man" conversion kit for wings along with some green stuff work. Had it paired up with a detachment of the Vampire Coast pirates to add something out of left field for opponents, though that list didn't really scale to full army size anyway...but few people expected Vampires to have a semi-decent addition of ranged combat and artillery, especially the gun lines.

Mordheim is a great game. Been playing it for years. Once you start playing you just become addicted to building warbands. I have like 15 of the damn things now. Most are fully painted. So much cooler painting a warband than the same infantry models over and over again.

The red skeletons and the wyrdstone zombies look phenomenal! I'm imagining the lich and the necromancer reanimating the skeletons straight off of corpses the warband has killed, just bursting out of the flesh. The zombies having the layer lines looks nice actually. It gives them texture, and it looks like they were cut or stitched together or just, something was done to them, so I don't think it's an issue, and I mean, I understand the memento of the old printer. The spinning topper with a terrain piece that matches the warband also looks really good, very good idea. Thank you chief! Oddly enough, a good chunk of you guys really like the print lines lol. Some people say it looks like radio static or even old CRT television lines. The base topper has also been getting some good reception as well so I'll have to look into making more of them! As for the KZbin Premium question, video makers do still receive revenue from Premium users even though the users don't watch ads. On top of that, Premium viewers generate more revenue for the creator than the standard free user. Least that's what I know from the research I've done. Apparently we have a way to differentiate between free and premium users in our analytics page but I haven't checked for that specific function yet (ever)

I really like the look of the sword, I think you could have gone a little lighter with that effect on the axed though, I really like that as a potential power weapon effect though maybe only for badguy factions. Other than that why not paint the bloodletter hand red with black nails(with maybe a grey drybrush to make it look dead)? I really like the look of your gold, I'm curious what you think of going with something like a greedy gold with a purple wash and then the brighter gold highlight(or a purplish gold with just the green way), or if you thing the neutral gold with the two washes is a superior option(assuming one has the necessary paints)?

I've used the same sponging style on many of my power weapons for 40k power weapons and I think it looks pretty damn good for the time invested into the effect lol. And I just wanted to use the hand bit, but not necessarily as a Bloodletter hand lore-wise. As for gold, honestly any kind of purple wash over gold looks amazing 90% of the time so I think it'd be worth trying out

Just a tip, ALWAYS max out on heroes at warband creation. Drop those garbage zombies and some of the regular boner boys for 2 more grave guard. And also the Witch can't be recruited at the start, she requires a post-game search roll of 4+ to locate, and she is overpowered as hell so I wouldn't suggest using her anyway.

Trench Crusade is on my to-do list, which is a big reason why I wanted to introduce more non-40k on the channel for a while. A lot of my channel momentum over the least year has been specifically for 40k which is fine and all, I like 40k as well, but allowing my uploads to be more diverse prevents us from getting pigeonholed in the future

You're in fact my favorite KZbin miniature guy. Non of the other miniature content creators seem to be as "authentic". Not sure if that's the right word for it. But watching your videos feels like bouncing off conversion ideas of my IRL buddies. Feels good. Nergling feels similar now that I think of it, but he's an oldhammer guy, which is a cool part of the hobby, but I can't keep it up all the time.

Lich they turned out really cool, like the red boner boys, bit different from the usual. The spinning diarama base thing looked great. Definitely do again, would be good to see the whole warband on there at the same time. Keep having fun 👍

I tried to play Mordheim, couldn't get into it. Upgrades are *way* overcosted so all warbands get pushed to mobs of your faction's cheapest troops with two weapon each so you can fish for 6s. I think the creators must have been traumatized by a gang of upgrades in their youths. I hope you have a better experience than I did! If not, Frostgrave and Five Leagues from the Borderlands also scratch that narrative skirmish itch for me.

I've heard that Mordheim can be very "boys" over "toys" at times but maybe it's something that irons out after the first five or so campaign games? I dunno, my only experience is with the viddy jame lol

As an utter outsider to Warhammer, it seems a really stupid distinction to me to separate Warhammer Fantasy from Age of Sigmar. Age of Sigmar is fantasy set in the universe of Warhammer, specifically before 40k, yes? Thus, Warhammer Fantasy. I realize it's most likely a branding distinction, but it still seems stupid to me.

Not quite. In the beginning, Warhammer was just a big mishmash of a setting, eventually being split into 40k and Warhammer Fantasy Battle (WHFB). Eventually, due to some combination of low sales and wanted to rebrand, WHFB was officially ended with The End Times, nuking the setting and rebirthing it as Age of Sigmar, which is a much more high fantasy setting compared to WHFB's more toned down setting. Recently, Games Workshop revived the WHFB setting and system with The Old World, so yeah, it's both confusing and dumb lol

They're two different settings. Warhammer Fantasy is the original fantasy setting by GW, which was dropped and replaced with Age of Sigmar (and then reintroduced). It was just Warhammer at first, then 40k came and so it got 'fantasy' to distinguish between the two. And then those were the two settings (not counting Blood Bowl, which is set in a world that's laid out basically the same but everyone is into sports) until it was destroyed and replaced by a new setting with a new name. It never had a name to distinguish it from another fantasy setting because there wasn't one.

Yeah someone pointed out that the Lich's equipment was invalid and I couldn't hire the Witch on creation. Someone suggested maxing out on Heroes for loot rolls and I can fit two Grave Guards if I axe the Witch and zombies, so I made up some minis for them on the side that I'll paint at a later time
