Today we are back modifying the R34 GTR! My Tomei titanium test pipe showed up from japan and i had some Nismo carbon fiber parts i bought on my last trip!

Imho. Leave the Midori exhaust on. Everyone has a loud car, the subdued exhaust makes it unique and gives it that Japan vibe.

Id personally keep the midori on. Anyone can get a Toméis exhaust in the states. You’re probably one of if not the only one with a midori exhaust on an r34 in the states

Midori exhaust for sure. I think the midori exhaust not only sounds good but it has a whole story to it. Sounds can be associated with certain memories and for me, if i had this, hearing this exhaust would take me back to the memories made in Japan modifying this car. Like, whole memories being associated with the exhaust adds to the history and the story of the car, especially if this is a forever car. To me, swapping it out would be like ripping a chapter out of a book but at the end of the day, it's your car!

5:25 10:35 Midori all the way!! Everybody and their mother has a Tomei exhaust on their JDM cars here in the US. No one here has probably even heard of Midori Seibi, let alone own one of their exhaust systems (and a whole-ass R34 GT-R built by them, no less), lol. It's awesome, perfect for a daily driver, but is a tad too quiet. As I'm getting older (I'll be 35 this year, so not old-old, but not young), I've gotten to where I don't care for super-loud straight piped-sounding exhausts, but I also don't like stock-level-quiet exhausts either, lol. I think the test pipe with Midori exhaust is the perfect combo.

I think keep it how it is with the new test pipe because not every car in the collection has to be crazy loud and I think it’s unique to keep it how it came from Japan since it’s Midori built but a titanium exhaust wouldn’t be a bad idea either 👀 since it would open the sound of the RB maybe hang the Midori exhaust somewhere in the shop where it can be seen in the videos and honored

As soon as i saw the thumbnail i knew it was a tomei test pipe! Run that and keep the midori exhaust setup after it!!! Don’t go full tomei it will sound too spicy for daily driving 😂. The mine’s downpipe makes such a unique noise with the catless test pipe for the RB26. Keep that setup but try to tomei for a video!!

This setup is perfect now it’s louder than before but not too much. The exhaust is honestly a big part of the driving experience IMO from past cars I’ve had . That little bit of extra sound that is still tame thanks to the Midori but a little touch of sound the Tomei added I think will make daily driving touch but more enjoyable
