It was interesting to watch how you select your colors and patterns. You go through many different permutations which was so cool to see so fast.

@@DawnMichelleTarot I'm actually going through the process of making some for myself:) and it is extremely soothing like you said. As someone who crafts in many forms, this was refreshing in a way I didn't expect.

The mini pads I got at JoAnns, they are much cheaper than the larger ones and are the perfect size for making decks. 😊 Thank you for watching!

what is the glue you're using?
@DawnMichelleTarot5 жыл бұрын
It is Fabri-tac, it's primarily for mix media gluing but it works really well for heavy papers too. 🙂 Thank you for watching. ❤️

So your idea is to spent money on an already made oracle which is quite expensive just because of the hard media like, and make your collage on there? I have this Tarot and I would never do that with any oracle or Tarot, even if I didn't like (I would give away or sell to other person). You don't respect the work that the person had doing this Tarot...you know how hard is conceiving an oracle? Is not just going through a bunch of collage ....

As a graphic designer who worked in the publishing industry for over 15 years, I do actually have a very good understanding of the process. Thank you for sharing your thoughts tho!

I think the idea was to make something new with materials you already had; to make what you have work for you rather than to gift it away.

Thank you Tori, that was exactly the point! I like using what I have on hand when I can and I also like infusing the energy into what I create with them as well. ❤️
