All that sewing looks time consuming but so worth it on the end! Great job, Nixie! 💖 (I used to have a bannie rooster named Pretty Boy, he thought he was a parrot and would ride around on my shoulder and sit by me feet when I was cooking dinner lol... Birds are awesome! 💖)

haha true. but since it's tiny with not too many pages, it was definitely easier than my first DIY sketchbook that was 9x12 inches and 150 pages. I definitely died. lmao! Hope you try this out!

I just got up for a bit and saw you uploaded and had to rush over. The editing is amazing and I love making Sketchbooks. These two came out so adorable. I used to have a rooster and I would hug him too, so I can relate with the guy. The drawing is so adorable. I had to give my rooster away because my neighbors gave him meat when I was away and he tried to attack me when I wore red once and the city said we couldn't have chickens. I was crushed, I had him for like two years or more and raised him since he was a wee little chick. :(

oh my goodness that is so sad! I did not know that its bad to give meat to roosters. I didnt even know they could eat meat! But yeah I am very sorry to hear that and I'm so glad you liked the drawing. it was really an adorable sight.

@@cottonghostart Yeah I think that's what people who make them fight give them, it makes them aggressive since they are herbivores. I also had a white dove once and my cat killed it. I was super sad. :( I really want a chinchilla or a tiny hedgehog they are so cute.

I dont know why people are so attracted to violence. that is also why pitbulls have such bad rep. and yes, cats are a natural predator and birds are their number one prey, that's why they need a bell collar. i'm sorry about your pet dove. ;( anyway, i agree! OMG I have been wanting a pet chinchilla!

hello I'm back! I looked into coptic binding and yes there is a similarity with the threading. its really interesting how they sewed the cover with it tho. might try that too haha. thanks for letting me know about it!

For a better result, the fabric can also be glued to the blanket. To avoid seeing the edges of the fabric, glue each sheet on top with white glue.

This is an awesome tutorial! Might try it out later! I don’t have any fabric though or cardboard, if I just glued the paper to regular card stock would they work?

Yes you can but that won't lay flat when you spread it, if that's alright with you. for me though I like it to lay flat that's why I sewn them. ^^

It would have been easier to follow if when you started a new part you didn’t speed up the camera. It got hard to follow. I do like this technique sewing the pages together but with the sped up camera I got lost.
