Nice knife - great job. When I worked in a steel mill(over 35 years), the millwrights made knives out of used very large band saw blades that were like 5/16" thick and man they made some really fine knives. They even heat treated them and made wonderful wooden and plastic handles for them. Its nice to see skilled craftsmen at work.

Excellent Bertram👍👍great video. Nothing like getting charcoal and steel dust under your fingernails, fantastic work as seen. Beautiful Birch burl, comes to life after the finish and leather work awesome. I bet wading out in the lake was exhilarating, good score on the fish. Thanks for the video and work, always well done. See you next time.

So good. I can’t even remember when I last saw a video of this quality on KZbin. Really inspiring, calming, interesting, and a great color pallet with awesome camera work and presence. I scroll and I scroll trying to find the magic and creativity the internet once held. Not knowing exactly what I’m looking for but I will know when I have found it. I found it.

Respect for the simple hand tools approach. The Yakutian knives are still my favourite, but hard to get at the moment due to the Russian Ukraine conflict.
