A thousand times better than anything Hollywood has put out in a long, long time. Brilliant performances by the entire cast. Perfectly directed. The soundtrack alone will make you want to come back for more.

It was definitely a labor of love more than anything else. I just saw it. I’ve been waiting since 2022 for this film. It was worth the wait. It was so beautifully shot and the mix of authenticity and texture I was so incredibly moved I wept through the whole thing. Memories flood back to those times and book mark my own moments in time. It’s emblazoned in my soul. Timmy is one of the greatest actors to come along in decades. 🙏❤️🥰

I watched it with wet eyes and a lump in my throat. The years 1961-1966 came back vividly: long-gone friends and late night conversations in places that no longer exist; ancient love affairs; vanished youth and wondering at roads not taken. Dylan usually was playing on the turntable. I completely understand.😿

I just saw this, and I did want to say this movie is as perfect as a movie can be. A tour force and acting, writing, entertainment, directing, editing, stagecraft, everything worked perfect. I'm going to be one of those guys that see it four or five times as I bring other people to go see it. Wow. I laughed, cried, thought, felt, but more than anything I was entertained. It's one of those movies that you're happy you spent three hours of your life to go see. Congratulations to everyone that had anything to do with this. And the woman that played Joan Baez knocked me off my socks. I don't even know her name, but I'm going to go creep through her IMDB to learn more about her and other things she's done. None of the actors over or underplayed their roles. And this is true from the leads to the supporting actors. Again, this was a magnificent production. 💯 Edit: I'm finished with my creeping. Monica Barbaro She was in top gun. I knew I had seen her before. I just couldn't place where. Regardless, what an incredibly talented actress 🔥

I absolutely loved this movie; all the actors did an exceptional job, especially the musical performances. I initially had my serious doubts having known the Dylan history and Dylan's eccentric character, but was won over. I really believed I was seeing a young Dylan and Joan Baez. Oscar caliber movie. The sign of a great movie is the need to rewatch it again, and I will be doing just that.

Loved this film. I was pleasantly surprised by the script, the flow, the acting, the singing. You can tell that this was a labor of love to make. All the actors shined. Timothy is definitely the best to play the role of Dylan. He inhabited his spirit and he got Dylan’s affectations down perfectly. He spent 5 years taking singing lessons to nail that signature voice and it was pretty much accomplished. I will see it again. Thanks to everyone involved in making this film.

I'm a musician and a vintage gear geek. (AES) yes! I was absolutely blown away to tears by the attention to detail with the period correct mics and equipment. That beat up old I believe AKG in the church scene brought back so many memories as a kid getting started. The Neumann hanging in front of the piano later in the movie. A quick glimpse of an Altec Lansing voice of the theater speaker cab at the Newport Folk Festival. I was just a little to young at the time but that put me in the movie.Thank you so much for such a great work. The only disappointment is that there is so much more to Dylan's life and career after where the movie ended. Maybe a sequel? I admit I had never been a massively huge Dylan fan but I love the period and this nailed it.

Can't wait to see this. Huge Dylan fan, only had a chance to see him live 3 times:06/20/00 in Medford, Oregon. Sick show opening for Phil Lesh &, Friends, 10/13/01 at the Bill Graham Civic in SF after seeing the Oakland A's vs. NNY in the Game 3 of the Division Playoff Series. "The Jeter Game" in both A's and Yankee folk lore. What a game. What a night, what a show. Long day since we ended up at the Great American Music Hall late night for DJ Logic after the Dylan show. Epic day. Last time I ever saw Dylan was 3 years later at the Santa Barbara Civic Center. 10/21/04. Wow those were over 20 years ago. Feels like yesterday. Also feels like 20 years ago. Timeless I guess is a good word. I heard that Bob was really happy with the way it was put together so thats saying a bunch. Otis Gibbs has a channel on here thats full of Dylan stories. Haven't looked up his connection to it all.

Seen it. It captures Dylan with his warts and all (note the comment that his art would come before any woman). If you're looking for buttercups and hummingbirds, stay away. If you know every part of the story and you're looking for a replay of your own understanding, open your mind and go. This is based on/inspired by Elijah Wald's book, and he's an extraordinary musicologist and historian. If you're looking for something that captures a good interpretation of Dylan and everyone around him at a particular point in time, or if you are a gearhead, go. I'm going to see it a couple more times to pick up on details I didn't notice fist time around. But I'm a film student and Dylan fan. I'd pair it with I'm Not There. Two very different perspectives on Dylan's chameleon-like evolution perpetually toward something other than what people want him to be.
