Yeah! i think it’s called a whip stitch, it’s really useful!! I use it a lot

Is it advisable, Since you seem to know much. I made a hobby horse out of cardboard, I’m getting black fabric, stuffing, ect And learning to make one. Do you advise I trace over the cardboard onto the fabric?

If that’s the shape you’d like, of course you can! Along as you don’t put the Cardboard in the hobby horse due to mold and stuff you’ll be alright.

It’s called many things but it’s usually called interfacing or buckram. Don’t get lightweight I would recommend getting medium or heavy xx

Velboa, although you could use fleecy material for a “fluffy” pony but this is made from velboa x

How long should the stick be??

It depends if you want to jump with the horse or not, if you do it should be shorter so the stick shouldn’t hit the pole. For bigger and heavier horses that you won’t jump as much I recommend a longer stick to balance out the weight.
