Hi Kimchija, You are absolutely right, the two directors J.Q. LEE and NAM-SOO KIM really did a fantastic job, as did everyone else involved in the project. The production of the series was a huge logistical and organizational effort. For example, there were over 200 extras on location for the entire duration of filming. The actors practiced the special gait and movements of the zombies for months. In our eyes, the effort was more than worth it. Also, a big compliment to the writers of the series, who wrote these characters so great that it is easy for the viewer to sympathize with them. And I think that this is a very important factor for the great success of the series. But of course these characters have to be brought to life by the actors. The young actors, some of whom have their very first acting experience with the series, have delivered a breathtaking performance. We assume that Netflix will announce the extension for a 2nd season in the next few weeks. As soon as this will be the case, we will of course let you know here immediately.

The zombie genre has only recently found mass success in the Korean film industry and I watched almost every single piece. Out of those I have seen I have to say this is by far the best. The storyline is really consistent and each character has depth and development. The familiarity of the 'average' kid next door, the performance of the zombies - it really is a masterpiece imo.

Lol i think Ji-Min death is the most worthless and unemotional one 😂 even no one notice or remember she is missing, despite she is there more than half of the series 😂😂 and im amaze at why the pink girl (hyo ryung?) survive till the end!! Her role there is reaaally tiny.. but i also suprized when dae-su survived!! I thought he is the one to die instead of Wu-jin, because his leg is injured so bad there 😳 maybe the pink girl and dae-su will have bigger role in season 2

I sacrificed my sleep just to watch ep 1-12 when it first came out and honestly, It was truly worth it. The set, actors/actresses, visuals and plot are great as a whole (eventhough there are some plot holes but as overall it was superb). Also, I find the character of Gwi-nam as a good way to make the story interesting, tho he is so damn annoying 😂 Gyeong-su, the top 2 student, had a great character development all throughout. But, Nam ra and Su hyeok’s characters, chemistry and pairing really stood up for me. ❤️ Actually, I already read the webtoon of this before (so I got an idea of what will happen). I think the drama version really did a great job in giving justice to the webtoon. Some added parts/scenes made a lot of sense. Overall, Congratulations to the casts, directors, writers, producers and staffs. Thank you for this great drama. 😊❤️

I'm so happy that k-dramas are getting global recognition. The story lines never fail to impress me. The show incorporating a zombie's perspective was smart. Since it slightly closed the 'species barrier' of humans and zombies. I sympathized with the zombies for being so hungry. Also, when Gyeong Su was hallucinating 'bad voices' when transitioning into a zombie.

This show is really realistic like when im watching a survival show and always say that "they would do this" "they should be together ,don't split up" "use sound to gather zombies (which is they don't do in any other zombie shows) but they did it in this show ...it feels like im there but cruel reality hurts that they almost killed them all ...But still great i love the acting and all ,waiting for season 2 hope to see more relatable situations cause i complain a lot when watching survival shows

I stumbled upon the series by accident and found it interesting. I started watching the series early in the evening & watched through the whole night until the next morning. Crazy! I was totally captivated. When I saw On-Jo for the first time in the series, I was totally shocked. My girlfriend is also Korean and looks soooo similar to her. My girlfriend is just older. But optically like her twin sister. Its insane! I hoped from the first minute that she would make it! 🙏 I really wish there would be a second season. Sad news to Every all of us are dead fans - All of us are dead season 2 will be released by end of 2024 because in latest review of teen Vogue with Park ji hoo (on jo) she said they didn't started shooting season 2 yet So season 2 shooting will start in August - September 2023 and casting will atleast take 1 year and CGI and VFX will take atleast 2-3 months so easily it will realease at the end of 2024 (November - December) 😭😭😭😭😭😭

I didnt think i could finish watching a series about zombies until All of Us Are Dead appeared. This is probably the best zombie series ever. Hoping for Season 2! Loved the way the zombies moved. My only criticism (besides Cheong-san at the end lol) is that the blood on their clothes stayed bright red instead of drying darker. It also meant that when it rained their shirts got a pink wash and lost realism. Such a petty wee complaint lol. Awesome series!

Sad news to Every all of us are dead fans - All of us are dead season 2 will be released by end of 2024 because in latest review of teen Vogue with Park ji hoo (on jo) she said they didn't started shooting season 2 yet So season 2 shooting will start in August - September 2023 and casting will atleast take 1 year and CGI and VFX will take atleast 2-3 months so easily it will realease at the end of 2024 (November - December) 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Hi Zachary, we're very pleased that you liked the series so much. The production of the series was a huge logistical and organizational effort. For example, there were over 200 extras on location for the entire duration of filming. The actors practiced the zombies' special gait and movements for months. The effort was more than worth it in our eyes. Also a big compliment to the authors of the series, who have written these characters so great that it is easy for the viewer to sympathize with them. And I think this is a very important factor for the great success of the series. But of course, these characters have to be brought to life by the actors first. The young actors, some of whom have their very first acting experience with the series, have delivered a breathtaking performance. We assume that Netflix will announce the extension for a 2nd season in the next few weeks. As soon as this will be the case, we will of course let you know here immediately.
