I absolutely agree.. Sonic Highways is an absolute masterpiece. And I need to add, I think it's also Butch Vig's masterpiece with the Foo Fighters. The last album he recorded with them if I'm not mistaken. With Greg Kurstin their sound has really changed over the last to LPs. Of course that also depended on the band but with Butch you get this really full and saturaded Rock sound that was so typical for Echoes and Silence, Patience and Grace and Wasting Light. I really miss it. And I really had to listen to Concrete & Gold for quite some time to appreciate the album. But now I'm also digging Greg as a producer and what the Foos are doing nowadays. Foo Fighters are my long time love when it comes to music. They never let me down. God, I'm grateful for Dave and the boys..
