the i'm not okay music video reminds me of how in my first year of high school i joined musical theater bc volleyball wouldn't take me and all the recreational groups were closed but then i sucked at that too so i left after the first performance and joined board games, which proved to be literally the best use of sports time ever. it was literally me and like four other guys sitting in a science room (in which none of the lights were ever turned on for some reason) with the teacher up the front giving no fucks. I probably said like two words in there for the rest of the year. best ever. anyway the whole of the song and also the video just kind of reminds me of that glorious activity.
