Making of: Natural Mushroom Lamp (long Version)

In this Video, i create a natural looking Lamp out of real Mushrooms and Deadwood. Beginning with searching for the proper wood in the Forest, till the final Lamp is done, with almost all steps in between. This Beauty is one of many other lamps i create. I also build lamps out of mountain crystals and deadwood.

Very nice! That was very good work, and I'm now a fan! I can't wait to check out your other stuff. One thing tho, you really need to be wearing a dust mask for some of that work lol I like the way you didn't try to hide the downward lighting in the shrooms. It seems like too many people are so busy trying to put the lighting in your face, that they wind up ruining their work by overdoing it, trying to make it look natural. Zuerst einmal: Wirklich schöne Lampe! Nun zu meiner Frage: sind die Pilze giftig und sollte man Atemschutz beim bearbeiten tragen oder ist der Staub unbedenklich? Und bevor jetzt jemand ankommt: Ja ich weiß, man sollte immer Atemschutz beim Schleifen etc. tragen, mir geht’s aber jetzt speziell um Pilze.

Wunderschöne Arbeit.. Das ist weit mehr als nur eine "Deko Lampe"! ich fühl mich wie ein Insekt; angezogen von dem magischen Licht. Da es echte Pilze sind frage ich mich: Nach dem Trockenprozess müssen die Pilze ja sehr zerbrechlich sein oder etwa nicht? Ich frage mich wie stabil der Pilz dann zb. nach einigen Jahren noch ist? Ich bin hin und weg von diesem Stück!!! :) Alles Gute für Austellungen, sowas Tolles gehört wirklich ausgestellt :)

Hallo! Danke für deine Worte. :) Ja, es ist eigentlich eher Kunst, als schnöde Dekolampe. ;) Die Pilze sind nach dem Trocknen sehr hart und beständig. Man könnte sagen, sie sind dann wie eine Mischung aus Holz und Kork. Also absolut nicht zerbrechlich. :)
