Nice work! Thanks for posting. I just bought this kit and seeing your video will definitely help me with some of the setups. I really like the creative setups you used like 3D printing a jig to hold an irregular part on the lathe, etc. 👍

Thanks for your nice feedback.- I wish you a succesfull experience! Combining 3D printed parts with common milled or turned ones is a huge advantage. E g. I printed a timing belt for an old sewing machine which was not available anymore or the mounting bracketes for my DRO. This is very sturdy and irregular parts are much easier and cheaper to fabricate than metal parts.

Nice one, build mine 12 years ago and actually spend a rebuild/refurbish for future use on my steam donkey project. videos in my chanel if interested. It's amazing what this time little engine can haul/lift with a 10:1 gear ratio.
