Thank you, so very helpful. Sharing with some young film makers who are making shorts this summer. Thank you for giving a solid basis and inspiration. This was a beautiful homage and fun story.

Thanks for sharing your process. It’s filled with some great info. Before you revealed your inspiration here, my first thought when you showed up with the fright makeup was that is was an homage to The Man (Herk Harvey) from Carnival of Souls.

You're right. Your short was inspirational and make me want to pull out that old equipment and get something made. All the best Scott. We'll miss you!

@@scootsmcgee77 We're doing well now. Joan went back to work a few weeks ago and I'm enjoying the home tutoring with the kids. I've encouraged them to work as a team, creating their own stories and present them in whatever way they want (acting, powerpoint, clay model animation). We're also covering biology, optics and electronics. This way I hope to break down some of those gender roles that kids seem to adopt at an early age. They've even learnt how to use a manual typewriter (in preparation for writing screenplays in Courier 12 point, haha!). You'd be amazed at how creative kids become when they start typing on an old manual.
