about the prison, in the other cell, theres a hole in the wall. theres a trader. you can rob the prison safe, you just have to wait until the gard sleeps. i havent, yet, broken in to the prison. but thats a thing im gonna do soon. theres a mission you havent started on. visit the bar in the basement and talk to the lonely guy drinking. he wants something, that will give you access to a new quest line :)

Top tier crafting benches (that I've found anyway) you'll want a lathe for metalworking and a bandsaw for carpentry (it's either a variant or better than table saw). 10 shavings gets you a bar so hang onto them when you find them, except metal you can smelt 5 cans if you really need steel. You can also craft with stolen mats just don't do it around people, they get mad at you for 'stealing'. Tenement guy can pull materials out of your inventory when you buy upgrades and gets mad if he pulls stolen stuff out. Still uses them though lol.

Poo is for the biogas reactor to refill gas canisters. Makeshift toilets will catch poo in buckets, but flushable toilets, of course send it down the drain. So poo in boxes and laying in the shower, etc, is actually useful. Loving this playthrough! I bought the game, because I worried that you would stop doing videos if views and interactions tapered off.

5:40 ya it did change it was 96 13:10 you want the lathe for that 14:00 10 shaving = a bar if it not working in the brick furnace then it has to be in the gas furnace (never used to brick furance just bought the gas one right away instead)

I snack on really good carrots - the kind you buy in the grocery that are pink glow, taste excellant and are pretty expensive. They increase mood and count as 'food', so I eat one or two everytime I drink water. Didn't you need those orange mushrooms for the tenant on floor 3? I love all the variety to this game! Want to get arrested? Just go into the door that leads to the jail and head downstairs - they are happy to put you into jail....

I think that happiness change over time with food is a "variety" mechanic, if it's anything like my Minecraft mods the game probably has a list of your last several consumed foods.

When you initiate an upgrade, you can see a green border around your current stage of the room/grade. Your Sauna has a green border around [Bare], so you are upgrading to [Makeshift], unless you skipped [Makeshift] and chose [Shabby].

Also, I completely missed the septic tank and drains too - you may want to rummage around in the weeds on the other side of Deekula B. Where are you finding electronic parts? I'm stuck unable to upgrade electrics and that's blocking other key upgrades (stairwell, heat, plumbing) and I'm not finding electronics parts at vendors or in the high-quality chests. I'm just searching and making money, buying what upgrades I can until I can get the electrics in.

Same thing happened to me! I’ve gotten electric parts from the one stop shop before. But for the most part I had to start breaking into people apartments and searching everything for them. I just make sure to check all the vendors every day. Oh also I find them in trash cans a lot and have found them in the chest over by the soup guy. I also got lucky and found a backpack in the chest over by the soup guy.

Should have made steel watches until you had consistant excellent or fine quality then started using other metals. Steel bars are essentially common and free, and the other metals are harder to find. You cannot dismantle it, if you don't have it. Yes, the food happiness changes. If you ate your favorite food, day in, day out, eventually you'd not only get sick of it, you'd lose the will to live. Variety in one's diet isn't only for phyical health, but mental health as well. planks or sawdust and glue for plywood. drill press or lathe, but I know the lathe only does one job, but it's fast with very low fail chance. I've made brass and gold bars with shavings in the metal smelter. never had enough shavings for silver bars. remember, the brick furnace is low tier smelter. Make sure the gate to the bazaar is open in the canals and make sure there's a dial to open it incase it closes. There _are_ multiple ways to go, but it's the only one I know how to open from the outside.

I am going crazy trying to figure out how to get the windows and pipes. None of the loot seems to respawn for me. I can’t find these anywhere I’ve been all over every building it’s driving me crazy lol I have so much money and can’t even spend to upgrade

Glass mostly was bought from hardware guy and some pipes. But pipes just randomly show up for me luckily

You can make both of those. Furnace, 5 glass shards and 1 sand gets you window pane, 1 steel bar gets you 2 pipes.

This might just be a me issue but I tend to stuff my machines with too many mats so when items finish crafting they "spill" onto the floor(watches blend into the floor too well lol). If you can't pick up that overflow from the floor, head in/out any door that gives a loading screen, that should fix the issue. Rearranged the basement a few times thinking I had stuff stuck in the floor so figured I'd mention.
