Manage the resources of a newly discovered planet. Bring supplies to the cities and manage its terraformation.
Extract minerals, transform and transport them to the cities, so that they can expand and progress.
Build terraforming devices, such as greenhouse gas factories, in order to progressively warm up the atmosphere, make the ice melt and make rain fall, until rivers and oceans form. Then, when the conditions are met, you will be able to plant trees and watch them grow into large forests.
Plan B: Terraform is a calm and contemplative science-fiction game based on a credible near future. It also offers an educational approach to greenhouse effects and water cycle mechanisms.
Earth has a very hard time limiting global warming and its catastrophic consequences. Humanity needs a plan B in order to ensure its survival. This is up to you!

Usually you are trying to dam lakes, but you should focus on redirecting rivers instead.

Yes and No, Rivers seem to seep up water so blocking off the water is VERY VERY difficult

at 7:12 in regards to the spelling of "centre". Personally I like using "centre" for places and "center" for positions. ie. a Shopping Centre, & In the Center.

Since that one iron patch is flooded, could you use dams to reclaim it?

Nope there is no way to pump the water OUT. The Dev has said its at the top of his list of things to look at

@@JDPlays Actually you can but it'll require using a displacement-remove method. Pumps would fix the problem, though.

I like your idea of a bilge pump. But, is there a view of the terrain elevation? Do you know where the lowest parts are? Can you move enough water from inside your caissons, so that you can access the resources for mining? Will the dams be big enough and high enough for the amount of water that you need to control? This game could stand to learn a few lessons from Timberborn. With over 1M hexes for the planet map, then you are looking at more than 50K tiles filled with trees. Thankfully, the forests expand, but that is still a lot of surface area that you will need to plan around, if you are not allowed to remove too many, as you plan out more and more production chain layouts.
