Great build. My only question is... what kind of overflow/obstruction precautions do you have built into the design? Simply making the outer walls an inch taller than the baffles and adding some overflow holes at the top of the tank facing wall would let any water that backs up to escape through the holes and simply fall back into the tank. With the inlet being so close to the bottom of the tank, if the filter overflows and dumps outside the tank, it would pretty much drain the whole aquarium.

I made this over head sump filter for my 2.5 feet aquarium,but later realized canister filter is sufficient for this aquarium In my 2.5 feet aquarium i'm using a canister filter which is doing well Canister filter is good for goldfish tank or use a filter that have filter capacity more than 5 times than the water volume
