Making panel saw handles

Always satisfying to make your own handles. The older higher end saws had four fasteners or more. A true sign of quality.

Great you Tom, first time I'vevseen one of your videos, now subscribed. What wood did you use for the handle?.. I've got a couple of old Diston saws I'm about to restore, but want to try to make a D8 handle... UK National, based in Singapore, watched your video while on project assignment in Manila....due to transfer to Melbourne at the end of the month....new exotic woods to experiment with.😊

Tom, I love the design, did you make the template or did you get it online?

The design is from Blackburn tools, it's free if you want to make your own I believe its a London pattern Kenyon saw handle. Based off a panel saw in the seaton tool chest.

Nice work, btw did you make the handles for your chisels? I see you using ones that have a squared/trapezoidal handle. If you made those, any info on how you did it? Would like to make something like those
