Mike, this is one of your best interviews. For some reason, Dan has not been on my radar. Thank you for making this available to everyone.

I'm not in the financial industry (arts entrepreneur) but I really appreciate the principles put forward here by both Green and McMurtie. Well done.

This talk had a lot of fluff, and a lot of BS around where I went to school and what my first job was like. The length could easily have been cut in half.

How do you break into the asset management game when passive investing is all the rage? The bulk of the US baby boom was born in 1952. That makes the bulk, the peak of the baby boomers 68 years old. They range from 75 to 54 years old. Thanks to Ark Investments' destructive technology companies many jobs will be displaced. Retail and Auto industries will be forced into bankruptcy. Pensions will be reduced. Yea, a insolvency event is inevitable. The dollar will strengthen due to all the dollar destroying bankruptcies. Dollars are created through loan creation and destroyed through loan delinquencies. As the dollar strengthens, indebted nations will become stressed. If Trump takes the presidency, Congress won't help the masses. The economy won't get stimulus. Profit taking in January to May. Sell in May and go away. No one sells their winners in December. So the market melts up. Each year more and more retirees are forced to withdraw from 401ks.

So I should buy Tesla today right up to $800 a share based on wishful thinking? Fewer cars will be sold worldwide in the next couple years due to the coming insolvency event. Baby boomers don't want electric cars. They want the cars and trucks they drove when they were 16. Tesla lowered prices more than expected just because they want to speed adoption? Because they're green? LOL. This despite lack of cashflow? Price to free cash flow of 150? Yea ok. 20 million units a year by 2030 huh? No one is selling Tesla stock in December because why pay taxes in April? Watch for the stock to tank in January. Sell in May and go away? Million mile batteries? So my Tesla will last 20 years? 60 million cars are sold each year now? With Tesla we won't need 60 million a year? Squeezing the shorts that's all. Pump and dump. Crocks dejavu! I just watched 5 EV manufacturers reviewed. Who wants a sedan anyway? Boring. The legacy internal combustion engine companies will operate at huge losses to avoid bankruptcy bringing profit margins to 0 in order to pay fixed costs. Perhaps even combine resources to compete they might. Nio has a much better battery swap option. China will be a significant player. All auto companies will be on the lunatic fringe to respond to Tesla. I predict Tesla down to $100 in 5 years. You need to do a thorough review of the competition from Nio, VW, Honda, to Peugeot. You're not considering the reduced demand from all the job destruction brought about by all these destructive technologies. I predict car production down 50% in 10 years down to 30 million. Increased competition too.
